I’m Lindsey, an interior designer with international experience in New Zealand, Australia and England, now based in Derbyshire. Collaboration sits at the heart of my process: client + designer, together with tradespeople, specialists and suppliers working together so every decision serves both beauty and function, and the result feels unmistakably “you”.
Guided by Colour Therapeutics for Interior Design, I use colour and light to support mood, focus and wellbeing as much as style - palettes and lighting plans that do more than look good; they help you feel good.
My aesthetic blends Scandinavian clarity, Japanese calm and mid-century modern warmth. That’s my taste; your space might want to feel lighter, bolder or more traditional. I work comfortably across most styles, grounded in proportion, flow and colour psychology. I’m colour-confident and detail-driven, with a touch of quirk and humour where it fits. From thoughtful storage to considered layouts, everything earns its place. The result is functional, harmonious interiors designed for real life - spaces to thrive in, not just live in.
I mainly work with homeowners, refreshing single rooms through to full renovations, and I take on select boutique commercial projects (small hospitality, independent retail, studios and wellness spaces) where character and atmosphere matter.
2025 marks the launch of my studio, a small, collaborative practice bringing colour-therapeutic, feel-good design to homes and boutique spaces across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and beyond.
